COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
The Applied Ethics Institute sponsors a variety of ethics programs throughout Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area. Through partnerships with a wide variety of community organizations, faculty and students are involved in activities throughout Pinellas County designed to elevate the awareness of ethical issues throughout the area. Some of these partnerships include:
- The Speakers Bureau of the Applied Ethics Institute can schedule a speaker for your members on a variety of topics. Call 727.341.4335 for more information.
- Characters with Character is a joint project with the community library that uses stories and books to help teach young children about values.
Community Service Work
Applied Ethics students and faculty worked together on October 29, 2011 to clean Coachman Ridge Park in Clearwater.
Applied Ethics Institute sponsors student involvement in service organizations throughout Pinellas County. Thousands of volunteer hours have been donated to dozens of groups, including:
